Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Tonya King
I'm new to Idaho! It's been four years now. We lived in Hong Kong for 10 years, spent 3 years in Mexico City. We also lived in Minnesota, California, Utah, and Oregon. I am excited to be teaching Family Consumer Science at Lowell Scott. I taught various subjects both abroad and in the United States and edited legal documents for an American law firm in Hong Kong. All of our children and grandchildren live in the U.S. and we are excited to be in the same time zone again!
Sewing Club will start September 26th. We meet on Wednesdays from 3:20-4:30 pm. The "club" is a drop-in format so students can come whenever their schedule allows. Students can bring in a sewing project or we will decide on projects as a club.
Fabric Donations: The Department is always in need of fabric, thread, or notions. If you have extra thread or a 1/2 yard or more of fabric, please drop it off to the office or the FCS Room 35. I can provide a letter for a tax deduction from the school if interested.
