Mrs. Tonya King
I'm new to Idaho and excited to teach Family Consumer Science at Lowell Scott. I taught various subjects both abroad and in the United States and edited legal documents for an American law firm in Hong Kong. All of our children and grandchildren live in the U.S. and we are excited to be in the same time zone again! We lived in Hong Kong for 10 years and spent 3 years in Mexico City. We have also lived in Minnesota, California, Utah, and Oregon.
Fabric Donations: The Department is always in need of fabric, thread, or notions. If you have thread or a 1/2 yard or more of fabric, please drop it off to the office or the FCS Room 35. I can provide a letter for a tax deduction from the school if interested.
Sewing Club: We meet on Wednesdays from 3:20-4:30 pm. We are meeting twice a month for the time being on the first and second Wednesdays of the month unless otherwise noted. The club is a drop-in format so students can come whenever their schedule allows. Students can bring in a sewing project or the club can choose projects they want to do together.
Sewing Club will meet during Fall Semester as follows: Oct. 17, 24; Nov. 14, 28; Dec. 5, 12.
