Mrs. Linda Belthoff

Welcome to Mrs. Belthoff's 1st Grade site!  What a great adventure we are beginning with our beautiful new school community!  I am looking forward to a fantastic school year, and I am excited to introduce myself to you!
I am originally from the East Coast (a small college town in Upstate New York), but I have lived in Boise for the past 23 years.  I am married and have 3 wonderful children who keep growing up on me.  My older daughter just graduated from Boise State, my younger daughter is a junior at Washington State University, and my son is a Sophomore at Mountain View High School.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a Master of Science degree in Zoology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.  I started teaching at the college level more than 20 years ago but always knew that I wanted to teach elementary students!
The 2016-17 school year will be my 7th year teaching in the West Ada School District, and I am so excited to be teaching 1st Grade again!  This adventure we are all about to take to open our wonderful new school will be an amazing ride!
I consider myself the luckiest person in the world to be able to do what I love, which is to spend every day working with amazing students.  I am honored to be your child's teacher this year, and I look forward to making this the best year ever!
