Mrs. Sara Daly
Hello- welcome to my MHS class page. A little about me . . . I graduated from the University of Idaho with a major in English teaching and minors in Spanish and Secondary Education. After teaching for a few years I went back to the University of Idaho to earn my masters degree in Education and Instructional Leadership. I have taught at schools in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho; grades K-12. I currently teach Senior English and yearbook.
When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my husband, hiking, reading, cooking and watching movies.
The best way to reach me is always via email. I leave my email open all day, and will get back to you within 24 hours if you have a question or concern about your student. My email address is email@example.com.
At the left of the screen, you will see links for the units I am currently teaching. If you are looking for the daily lesson plans and/or any handouts I use in class, you will find everything under the past assignment list in each individual unit. Select the unit we are studying and then find the assignment by the date your child was absent from class.
Finally, I use Remind to send my students occasional text message reminders of homework assignments and upcoming due dates. This service creates a layer of anonymity between my phone and those of my students. Students are able to reply to my messages or ask me questions, however, I only reply to messages related to school or assignments. This service is especially useful with senior project. Standard text messaging rates apply, so this is optional for students and parents. At the end of each semester, I deactivate the old class groups and create new ones--once a semester is over, students won't receive any messages until they sign up for a new class.
