    Today students will finish the Hoop Glider Lab, then work on the Scientific Method Practice Scenarios, which we will go over at the end of class.

    Today students will participate in the Procedures lecture, then play a cooperation game (Marble Roll Challenge). They will then take notes on the Scientific Method powerpoint lecture.

    Daily Essential Question - Give 2 reasons why it is important to study Earth Science.

    Today students will participate in Seating Challenge #2. They will be given the Lab Safety contract sheet, and are instructed to read and understand the Lab Safety Contract on my website, and sign the contract, as well as having their parents sign it. It is due the next class day. Students will then complete the Alphabet Challenge and the Critical Thinking Questions.

    Today students will complete a seating challenge, do the Daily Essential Question, practice fire and lockdown procedures, watch a brief video and discuss why we study earth science.

    Today students will be introduced to class. We will work through some introductory activities to get to know each other. They will answer 10 questions about themselves and share some of the answers, check their memory, see how flexible their minds are and help develop some norms for the class.
