I LOVE teaching Spanish! I will teach 4 levels of Spanish this year: Spanish 2, Spanish 3 (BSU SP101 & SP102), Spanish 4 (BSU SP201), and Spanish 5 (BSU SP202). This year I will be teaching 2 classes of Spanish V, one will be via teleconferencing, teaching students throughout the district while in my physical class (and visiting them at their school). I am also an adjunct professor for Boise State University, teaching concurrent enrollment classes (Spanish 101, 102, 201, and 202). The best part of my job is seeing how my students develop communication skills in Spanish throughout high school and are able to use these skills in real life situations, as well as learning how the Hispanic cultural compares to their culture. Although I was born in the US, I was raised in Spain, completely immersed in the culture and educational system there. I speak 4 languages but am fluent in 2. I have lived in several countries and states; I LOVE to travel! I enjoy watching Supercross and Motocross races and attend at least one of each every year with my husband. To relax I read, play on my PS3/PS4 or with my dog, watch some TV; but my favorite activity is when I spend time with my grandkids!
