Mrs. Heather Fisher, Ed.S.
My name is Heather Fisher. I live and teach in Meridian, Idaho. Over the years I have had the opportunity to have taught all grades K-12, including continuing education college level courses, either online for face-to-face. Eight years ago I re-entered the brick and mortar teaching world after working as a Curriculum & Instruction Specialist with an emphasis on Teacher Support and Student Intervention. I supported 250 teachers and over 14,500 students a year. It was a great experience, but I missed working directly with students. Now, every day I get to work with the most amazing students you could ever hope to meet...MAVERICKS!
In my spare time I enjoy riding/racing dirt bikes (motorcycles), racing flat karts, beading, gardening, shooting, hiking, boating, & camping with my husband and 12-year-old son. I love to be outdoors. I am originally from Sweet, Idaho, where our 1000 acre family ranch is still located. I attended Horseshoe Bend, Vallivue and Meridian school districts. I graduated from Eagle High School in 1997, The College of Idaho in 2001 (majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in K-12 Reading), AIU in 2005 (with a Master’s in Instructional Technology), and most recently the University of Idaho in 2013 (with an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership).
I am excited for this year and the successes we will encounter.
Bullieve in yourself and anything is possible!
