Welcome!  This is my seventeenth year in education at Mountain View High School, where I enjoy teaching Ceramics and Visual Art Journals.  I am passionate about the arts and believe that all of us have an artist inside.  The trick is in how to find it.  I can do great things with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic!

 

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Art Education from the University of Idaho and my Master of Education from Lesley University.  I am a practicing artist, primarily in clay, and have enjoyed exhibiting and selling my work for several years.  

 

I have a beautiful nine year old daughter at home named Olivia and a sweet little boy, Noah, who will be 6 in March.  Becoming a mother has given me so much perspective into the lives of my students and their parents.  It is the only job in the world better than teaching!
