Mr. Robinson

Hello students and parents!

My name is Nick Robinson and I've been in the education field now for 10 years.  I received my Bachelors of Secondary Education in English from Boise State in 2005, and was a member of the Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society during my undergrad experience.

I grew up in small town Idaho (Orofino or Grangeville, anyone?) and have lived in Idaho most of my life.  In high school I was part of the wrestling and track teams, and was also the Co-Founder and President of my high school Chess Club.  I've lived in Boise since 2000, and my wife and I have two kids (Freshman & Junior).  I have many interests and hobbies, including but not limited to: reading and writing, dancing, wrestling, college football, golf, UFC, shooting pool, fastpitch softball, and spending quality time with my family.  I also enjoy traveling, and have been to many cool places such as Canada, Mexico, Hawaii, The Netherlands, England, Belgium, France, Germany, and Switzerland.

I'm passionate about learning and growing as a person, and strive to help my students become independent learners themselves.  I will do my best to provide you (or your student) with the knowledge and skills necessary to become an outstanding reader, writer, and thinker.  Please don't hesitate to email me if you have any questions or concerns (email is the best way to reach me).  Also, please take the time to navigate my page, as well as your or your child's other teacher web pages, in order to become more familiar with finding necessary assignments, documents, resources, etc.

Note on navigating my page:

The "Graded Assignments " tab is where you can find copies and/or information for any assignment that is formally assessed and entered into the gradebook. For most other documents, notes, etc., look in the "Non-Graded Assignments, Notes, and Helpful Documents" tab.  Please utilize your resources, and see me before school, at lunch, or after school with any and all questions you have regarding your grade and/or assignments.

I'm excited for the year and the opportunities it will afford us!

Sincerely,

Nick Robinson
