Mrs. Bonnie Hanebutt

I'm proud to say that I was born and raised in Mountain Home, Idaho and have lived in Idaho ever since.  I've known since the first grade that I wanted to be a teacher and have been teaching for 35 years with the last 8 years at Mountain View.  I attended the University of Idaho where I earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education.  I got a Masters in School & Community Counseling at both Albertson's College and College of Idaho.  It was a special $10.00 deal I couldn't pass up.

The thing I love most about teaching is helping students learn something they thought was too hard.  It is those moments that make teaching all worth while.

Besides teaching my other joys in life are spending time with my husband riding in our (my) 1969 Camaro SS.  It was my car in high school.  We enjoy golfing, riding our E-Bikes and traveling.  When I have the time I like to bead jewelry, art journals with mixed media,  various arts and craft projects, and just spending time at home relaxing with our 2 cats, Bogey & Birdie.

This shcool year has been very unusual and a difficult time for everyone but we will get through it because we are MAV STRONG!
