Ms. Redmon

Hello!

My name is Holly Redmon. I've been teaching here at Pathways for four years. In that time I have met some of the brightest, kindest and wonderful individuals I could have ever hoped to meet, both in the staff and in the students who come to this school. Our environment at Pathways is unique. Our facilities are lackluster, but this only speaks to the character of the administration, staff and students who work their hardest to overcome this setback. In the science department we work hard to provide a robust science curriculum which includes scientific argument and thinking, science content knowledge, as well as practical lab skills even though we do not have an actual lab. If you feel that you can offer a unique opportunity for our students that is science related contact me and we will see if we can work it into our curriculum!

I received my B.A. in Elementary Education from Boise State University in 2011, and am considered highly qualified to teach mathematics and science up to 8th grade. I worked in a special education classroom for one year and also worked at the Discovery Center of Idaho teaching summer classes. Currently, I'm attending Montana State University seeking my M.S. in Science Education.

In my spare time I enjoy swimming, playing video games, hiking, spending time with my family and my many pets, and of course doing science!

Homework assignments as well as other resources are located on Google Classroom. To get parent access to your student's Google Classroom class. Email me at redmon.holly@westada.org and I will send you and invitation.
