I was born and raised in eastern Idaho.  I graduated from Lewis Clark State College with a bachelor's in elementary education, and earned a master's degree from NNU.  In 1994, I started teaching middle school in the Blackfoot area, and in 2000, I began teaching at Peregrine elementary.  I love teaching second grade helping students learn about our plants, animals, the seasons, and becoming better readers and writers.

We have three children and seven grandchildren.  I love continuing my own education, camping, and reading.
