Mrs. Amy Moulton

I was born in the small town of Bishop, California. After graduating from Bishop Union High School in 2000, I moved to Caldwell, Idaho where I attended Albertson College of Idaho. I graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in Physical Education and a minor in Reading and Elementary Education. In 2005, I graduated with a Masters in Elementary Education with an emphasis in leadership and technology.
I began my teaching career as a first grade teacher in 2005 at Washington Elementary in Caldwell, Idaho. After two years, in 2007 I took a first grade teaching position with the Meridian School District. I taught first grade for six years at Desert Sage Elementary through the school year 2012-2013. I am currently starting my sixth year at Peregrine Elementary and my fourteenth year of teaching first grade.
My passion is teaching but when I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband Chad, my ten year old daughter, Kallie, and my seven year old son, Austin. We enjoy being active, love sports and outdoor activities. I am also a health and fitness coach. We love playing slow pitch softball and volleyball with friends. We are always on the go and I wouldn't have it any other way. Some of the many things I enjoy are Coffee, Zumba, swimming, camping, reading, baking, and music.
