Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelors degree in elementary education from Boise State University
Hello third grade students and families! Welcome to the third grade! My name is Mrs. Warwick and I am so excited to be your teacher this year!
I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated from Boise State University in 2013 with a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education and completed my student teaching here in the West Ada district. Previously I was a substitute teacher for three years in the district. This year is my eighth as a Pioneer staff member on the third grade team! I am married and my husband and I love playing with our daughter Emersyn, our two kitties Lilly and Lizzy, and our dogs Finn and Theo. I love to read books, exercise, and go to BSU football games to tailgate with family and watch the game. During our first days of school I would love to get to know what fun things you did this summer and what you have fun doing!
Third grade is going to be a brand new adventure as we navigate new policies and procedures, but it will still be a very special and exciting year! I have many fun activities planned for us and can't wait to get started! Please view the Pioneer school page at www.westada.org/Pioneer to view general information, our supply list, newsletters and calendar. Don't forget the first day of school is August 27th to align with traditional schools for the first semester.
I would like to save you some money as you shop for school supplies! Please DO NOT purchase:
*wide-rule notebook paper
This year presents numerous challenges in organizing student materials so that they are kept separated for individual use. We have limited space inside the desks so please consider this when you get supplies. Please only send the minimum requested supplies to school; if it's not on the list it will need to be kept at home. I do recommend that you keep some extra supplies at home to replace things throughout the year that are used up/broken/lost.
