Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Jennifer Stoor
I was born and raised in Fruitland, Idaho participating in all the sports available; basketball, volleyball, track, softball and golf. I played basketball at the local junior college, Treasure Valley Community College. I went on to Boise State (Go Broncos!) to earn my BS in Physical Education. I married Jerel who helps me find new adventures here in Idaho! We enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, rafting, hiking, and camping. I enjoy playing golf, bowling, tennis and biking on my cruiser. I even competed in bass fishing tournaments and one of my favorite activities is Steelhead fishing on the Salmon River. We have two sons who love their family's active lifestyle. We couldn't be happier that they attend Ponderosa. This is my 21st year of teaching and I helped open Ponderosa in 2002. Knowing my students are getting up each morning excited about physical education or participating in our walk/run program Pacers, keeps me motivated and excited too! I want students to find their passion; that spark that keeps them ablaze down their path toward a healthy life. My motto is to "Make it fun or it won't get done! Play!" I am thankful to see these students Kindergarten through 5th grade and see their lives transform physically, mentally, socially and emotionally. Now more than ever, I am passionate about shaping healthier futures not only for my students, but my children.
