    See below for info on upcoming events.


    In preparation for our year end events we need several things.

    1. Senior Graduation Announcements for a class montage. Please deliver these ASAP
    2. Orchestra photos: Please email me any orchestra photos that you would like included in our year-end slide show
    3. Band photos: Please email me any band photos that you would like included in our year-end slide show






    5/14 – 17

    2018-19 Color Guard Auditions

    RMHS Room A3

    Auditions are open to any students whose home school will be RMHS for the 2018-19 school year. Contact Mr. Carpenter (Michael.Carpenter@WestAda.org) for more information.


    Gala Concert Dress Rehearsal

    RMHS Auditorium

    6:30 – Czardas

    7:00 – Fanfare for the Common Man

    7:30 – Rhapsody in Blue

    8:00 – Danse Infernale

    8:30 – Berceuse and Finale


    Students need to be present for their pieces. Attendance is required in order to perform on the concert.

    Admission is free


    Band Banquet

    6:00 PM Doors open

    6:30 PM Dinner is served

    7:00 PM Awards program begins

    This event is for all band students and their families. We acknowledge students for their achievements from this school year and announce student leaders for 2018-19. You must purchase your ticket for dinner ahead of time by clicking here: http://www.rmhsmusic.org/banquet/. Senior students eat for free – though you still need to purchase a ticket so that we have an accurate head count. Attire for the evening is nice clothes.


    GMB Preview


    8:00 AM – Noon. This event is for all 2018-19 Grizzly Marching Band Members. Contracts for the next year will be emailed shortly. This is the last day to return your contracts.


    Orchestra Dessert Social

    6:30 PM Doors open

    7:00 PM Awards program begins


    This event is for all RMHS Orchestra students and their families. We celebrate everyone’s achievements over the course of this year. Attire for the eveing is nice clothes. More specifics to follow.


    “Swing into Summer” Jazz Concert

    Meridian City Hall Amphitheater

    3:30 PM Load Equipment

    4:30 PM Depart for City Hall

    5:00 PM Setup

    6:00 PM Sound Check

    7:00 PM Downbeat


    This is a new and free community concert that the Jazz Band & Jazz Choir are presenting. More details will follow.



    Taco Bell Arena

    8:30 AM – Load bus

    9:00 AM – Depart RMHS

    10:00 AM – Setup and perform prelude music at Taco Bell Arena

    11:00 AM – Ceremony Begins

    1:00 PM – Approximate end time


    All students (except seniors) are required to participate. We will provide busing from RMHS, but you are also welcome to drive yourself. Performance attire is concert black.


    GMB Camp


    2018-19 Grizzly Marching Band Camp will be held July 30 – August 3 and August 6 – 10. Participation is required for all members. Details will be emailed shortly with more specifics for the entire 2018-19 season.

    You can make a tax-deductible donation to the Rocky Instrumental Music Boosters today. The funds will be used in any way that you specify. If you'd like to make a donation to some other project (instrument purchases, music purchases, etc.) you can specify that as well. When you make a donation, you will receive a letter acknowledging your donation for use in filing your taxes.
