Welcome to Mrs. Henneman's school website and welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year. I'm looking forward to teaching my students again even in these crazy uncertain times! I have missed being in the classroom these past several months and I am looking forward to returning.
It my pleasure to introduce to you my Co-Teacher/Student Teacher Ms. Sirani. She will be here first and second quarter. She is a U of I graduate with a degree in Fine Arts and emphasis in ceramics/sculpture. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of Secondary Eucation. She is a wonderful asset to our department and it has been a pleasure to work with. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. All High Schools in the West Ada District will be teaching in quarters this year (called the 4x4 schedule). Here is my schedule:
(1st Quarter): Drawing and Painting and Design
(2nd Quarter): Ceramics 1, Advanced Art and Advancd Ceramics.
(3rd Quarter): Drawing amd Painting and Drawing
(4th Quarter): Ceramics 2, Advanced Art and Advanced Ceramics - 4th quarter I offer Dual Credit through ISU (Ceramic Course and Advanced Art/College Drawing) More information will follow.
A little about me...I have lived in the Boise area for the better part of my life. I graduated from Boise State University with my BFA in Art Education in (2000), and earned my Masters in Art Education in (2007). I love teaching art, I love my family and spending time with my husband, 5 kids and 8 grandkids! Some of my hobbies are (besides painting and working with clay), gardening, swimming, hiking, and playing tennis. Summer and Fall are by far my favorite seasons!
