Mrs. Ann Henneman

Welcome to Mrs. Henneman's school website. I teach the following courses at Rocky Mountain High School -  Drawing & Painting, Advanced Art with Dual Credit offered through ISU, AP Studio Drawing, Ceramics 1, 2, & Advanced Ceramics with Dual Credit offered through ISU .

I have lived in the Boise area for the better part of my life. I graduated from Boise State University with my BFA in Art Education (2000), and my Masters in Art Education (2007).

I love teaching art. Some of my hobbies besides painting and working with clay, are gardening, swimming, hiking, and playing tennis. Summer and Fall are my favorite seasons and I love spending time with my husband, children and our six awesome grandchildren! I can be reached at henneman.ann@westada.org

I have the pleasure of having Ms. Capelli joining my classes this semester from the U of I. She is a talented student teacher and will be teaching my Ceramics 1, and Drawing and Painting classes this semester. A little about her, "I was born in Fremont, California and moved to Sandpoint, Idaho when I was 9 years old. I've always loved the arts! I grew up singing, painting, acting and dancing, and haven't stopped since, and never will stop. I will graduate from the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID in December 2018. I will be receiving a degree in Secondary Art Education with minors in Music & Musical Theatre. I work mostly in drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture but continuously try to incorporate music and theatre into my art as well. I’m spending the fall semester at Rocky Mountain High School, student teaching with Ann Henneman to gain experience and officially complete my degree. My plan for the future is to gain experience teaching at a high school level before continuing on to earn my masters in Art and become an art professor."
