Mrs. Jennifer LeCompte
This will be my eleventh year teaching and my second year at Rocky Mountain High. You can most likely find me in the Engineering lab (room 105) where I will be teaching five sections of the introductory course for PLTW Engineering pathway called "Introduction to Engineering Design".
My former educational degree was earned from the University of California San Diego in Structural Engineering and have a great deal of love for designing, building, and tinkering in laboratories. I also hold a Master of Arts in Secondary Mathematics Education from USC, so feel free to stop by if you have a math question too!
I am passionate about 3D modeling using Autodesk Inventor and getting my students to love it was well. I look forward to getting the 3D printer & laser cutter up and running. On my free time, I love going on hikes or runs, taking a yoga class, gardening, cooking & eating, making halloween costumes (that's a new hobby) and most importantly spending time with my husband & 1-year old son!
