    Hello Everyone,

We are officially in tournament mode! Our Varsity have their first competition this Saturday, starting at 8 am. Please make sure that if your student is competing they arrive at RMHS by 7:00 am. They will need to bring water and a lunch, as well as everything they need to debate well! Our novice's first tournament is next Saturday the 31st, cases for Novice's should be finalized by Tuesday the 27th with entries going in this Friday. If your student is interested in competing at Borah Novice they must inform me by 6 pm tomorrow. We also have our very first speech tournament the week following BNov, November 6th, and 7th. Speeches will be due Thursday the 29th. As always, please remember that if you are interested in judging to fill out the judging form. If we do not have to hire judges, we can put those funds to use to better the team's resources. Also, remember to fill out the spirit pack order form by the 29th, and that our judging clinic will be tonight at 6 PM!

    Hello Everyone,

It is week 5! We're getting closer to our first Varsity tournament of the season, only two weeks away! A couple of things to keep in mind; Cases are due next week at team night, the 15th, We also have a judging clinic that night over Teams at 6 PM, and we will be recording it to post here on our website for anyone who is unable to make it. It was also brought to my attention that the Spirit Pack order form was missing a few items, I've updated it and attached a new link, I'm sorry if that has caused any extra headaches! Please make sure to fill it out and have it turned in by October 29th, we're hoping to place our order in time for our own tournament. Payments can be made to the Bookkeeper for $100 for new members and $80 for returners, or you can always Judge! If you have any interest in judging for us please fill out the form linked below as well! It's a great way to save some money, help out the program immensely, and get involved in a great activity with your student. As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have, and thank you all for your hard work and dedication!

    Hello everyone,

Welcome to week 4! We have just started incorporating Novices into our team nights. Please note that if you are still interested in competing on the team you can join at any time. Our November debate topics dropped today and are as follows:

LD "The United States ought to provide a federal jobs guarantee."

Nov LD "Civil disobedience in a democracy is morally justified."

PF "The United States should adopt a declaratory nuclear policy of no first use."

Policy remains the same. Please remember to sign up for judging slots as well as our judging clinic on October 15th, as well as filling out your Spirit pack order form! This year, we are excited to be able to offer team jackets to family as well, at an additional cost. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
