Mrs. Kristi Frith

My name is Kristi Frith and I am currently the 2nd grade Physical Education Teacher here at Pioneer School of the Arts on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.   I am excited and appreciative to be teaching at such a great school and working with the other fabulous P.E. teacher, Nicole Moore.  Aside from teaching, my love and passion is my family, faith, and fun.  I have four children that are attending schools in the district, as well as my husband is teaching and coaching in the district.  I enjoy following and watching my family in their multiple activities including volleyball, basketball, baseball, and gymnastics/dance.  We enjoy being active as a family!  Personally, I played volleyball and basketball in High School having opportunities to play both in college, but chose to play colligate basketball where I received my Teaching/Education Degree.

I anticipate the year to be amazing with new activities, challenges, and skills to learn.  In order for each P.E. class to thrive, there are a few things I need to be sure students and parents are aware of:

TENNIS SHOES only Please -- No flip flops, boots, crocs, heels, etc.

It is our Physical Education policy that all students need to wear tennis shoes for P.E..  Without the correct shoes, injuries tend to happen more frequently and we do not want

anyone to get hurt.  Students can wear other shoes during the day and bring tennis shoes to change into for P.E. class.

CLOTHING

Please have your student wear the proper clothing for activity.  Girls should not wear skirts/dresses on P.E. days.

Hats and sunscreen are allowed on days that our class is outside.  Most likely in the fall and spring months.

WATER

There is a drinking fountain in the gym for students to use,  However they are more than welcome to bring a water bottle and reccommended on the days we are outside.

PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

If a student is unable to participate in P.E. on a given day, I need a note from home or the doctor excusing the student from activity or limit of activity.

LIFETIME RULES

    1.  Do Your BEST

    2.  Do What's RIGHT

    3.  TREAT Others the Way You Would Want to be TREATED!

If you have any more question regarding P.E. please feel free to email me at frith.kristi@westada.org or you can reach me at 855-4100 ext.1600 on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

I am looking forward to a great year!  GO PUMAS!
