Seven Oaks

School Counseling Program

  • The counseling program at Seven Oaks is designed to reach all of the student population and to help support the social, emotional, and academic needs of students.  Classroom guidance lessons are one way in which the entire student body interacts with the counselor.  Classroom guidance lessons focus on safe and healthy choices, internet safety, friendship skills, problem solving strategies, and conflict resolution skills.

In addition to classroom lessons, some students benefit from participating in small groups.  In small groups, students have an opportunity to learn from other students in a small setting while addressing topics relevant to the group.  I am also available to meet with students on an individual basis if a need arises.
