Ms. Asha Sharp, school counselor
Welcome! I look forward to kicking off the 2016-2017 school year with you. I specialize in student directed services to advocate for students while promoting the district’s vision to “produce responsible, productive students capable of adapting to a changing, diverse world”. I will seek to work closely with students and families to ensure that students have the resources to excel academically, socially, mentally, and emotionally.
My credentials include Licensed Master Social Worker, my school of social work pupil personnel certificate through the State Board of Education, and a lifetime dedicated to supporting and enhancing the well-being of others. This is my first year at Ustick Elementary. The majority of my experience has been working with children for the State of Idaho in Children’s Mental Health and Child Welfare. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors and traveling with my husband and two children.
If at any time you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. My phone number is 208-855-4122, or you can email me at Sharp.Asha@westada.org. My office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:20-4:20pm. I thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work with your child.
