Prospect Elementary

It is our pleasure to welcome you to Prospect Elementary.   Nestled in the picturesque Copper Basin Subdivision on the south side of McMillan Road between Locust Grove and Meridian Road, our school opened in the fall of 2006 with a design capacity to serve approximately 650 students. Serving children in kindergarten through fifth grade, we are dedicated to ensuring a safe and caring learning environment in which all our students strive to reach their greatest potential.

Prospect also offers a Tuition Kindergarten which is a full day kindergarten.  The TK program is a great option for parents who work full time and provides enriched learning opportunities for your child to meet the standards for kindergarten.  Additionally, Prospect has a Resource, Extended Resource, and an English Language Learners Magnet program.  We are very proud of the many languages our students speak.  Mr. Engel, our counselor, has a K-Kids program for our 4th and 5th graders which promotes and supports community service programs around our school.

Prospect has an active PTA.  Our PTA organizes fundraisers and community events which not only support our educational program, but create traditions and memories for our students.  Last year, our PTA hosted a Panther Prowl Fun Run, a Farmstead Night, several Subway Days, Val-o-Grams, a Math Night, a Read Week, and more.  Our PTA Board submitted a grant to provide the IReady Math program.  The Prospect PTA is a great way to get involved in our school community.
