Ms. Tracy Poff
Hello! I am Tracy Poff and I am the Instructional Coach at CA. This is my first year not having a classroom and my own students. I have been teaching for 22 years, all in the WASD. I have taught ELA grades 6-12, Student Leadership, Reader's Choice and Yearbook. When you walk into my office you will see BLUE and ORANGE and quotes all over the walls that inspire me to the best version of myself for students and staff.
My life outside of CA revolves around my two boys. Mason is in 8th grade and Landon is in 5th grade. They both play sports year-round. I live on a football field, in a gym for basketball and/or in the bleachers at the baseball field. Nothing makes me more proud than to cheer them on! Our rescue dog Brynn would say our lives revolve around her. She brings so much laughter and joy to our home.
I love reading, watching sports (GO BSU!!), travelling and spending time with family and friends. I am a Host Mom for the Boise Hawks, so every summer my boys and I have one of the players live with us. We love creating life long relationships with these young men and supporting their dreams of being a professional athlete.
“You are the books you read, the films you watch, the music you listen to, the people you meet, the dreams you have, the conversations you engage in. You are what you take from these. You are the sound of the ocean, the breath of fresh air, the brightest light and the darkest corner. You are a collective of every experience you have had in your life. You are every single second of every single day. So drown yourself in a sea of knowledge and existence. Let the words run through your veins and let the colors fill your mind until there is nothing left to do but explode. There are no wrong answers. Inspiration is everything. Sit back, relax, and take it all in. Now, go out and create something.” —Jac Vanek
