Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Kristen Goodfellow
Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
Welcome to my page and welcome to Heritage! I am so looking forward to meeting and working with you this fall!
I am so thrilled to begin my seventh year at Heritage. It is my passion to guide students through the learning process. I am excited to share my enthusiasm for reading and writing with you this year!
In 2012 I graduated from the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!) with a degree in education. I spent the following two years teaching various grades as a substitute teacher in Moscow, Idaho. After my husband graduated from Washington State University we decided to move to Meridian in search of new job opportunities. I could not have been happier to have found a position at Heritage! I also have two children; a daughter who recently turned four and a son who is almost one. They keep life exciting! In my spare time I enjoy reading, board games, and cooking.
This year I am so excited about 1:1 devices and the opportunity to learn in new ways. I've spent a lot of time this summer reading books about blended and distanced learning. I've been taking classes and collaborating with colleagues to prepare for whatever this year holds.
Sixth grade is a big year for transition and change! Rest assured that I am ready to help you ease into this new environment and to support you as you embark on this middle school adventure.

Looking forward to meeting you soon!
