Mrs. Priscilla Robinson

I started at Christine Donnell School of the Arts in 2009 and have loved every minute at this school! I have an elementary education degree and taught first, second, and third grades in past years. I am passionate about getting children excited about reading! It is so exciting for me to see my students get lost in a good book! I am an avid reader myself and although I love many genres, I especially enjoy children's literature and mysteries. I also love to cook, knit, crochet, sew, paint, and do all kinds of crafts.

I grew up in the midwest and have always lived near lakes. So it is no surprise that my favorite spots in Idaho are McCall (near Payette Lake) and Red Fish Lake. In the summer my husband, my dog, Ferguson, and I head out to go camping and spend as much time in or near water as possible.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Rich, since 1978 and have three married daughters and two grandsons.  Being a mom and now a Nana is my greatest joy! Throughout the years since graduating from college, I have taught in many venues from the elementary classroom to music studio to parenting classes at St. Alphonsus and program director for the Meridian Library District. I have been blessed!

If you would like to volunteer in the library in any capacity including helping with the Book Fairs in December and May, email me at robinson.priscilla@westada.org. I'd love to have your help!
