Mr. Ryan Skeesuck

I am very excited to be a part of the Lowell Scott staff for the 2017-2018 school year teaching mathematics.  I am honored to have you (or your student) in my class.  This website is designed for both the student and the parent(s) to find resources such as class calendars of upcoming assignments and quiz/tests dates, copies of notes taken in class, and copies of assignments given.  I strive to keep the information current for you as resource(s) to use at home.

This is the start of my sixth year of teaching middle school math and I have extensive experience with the Common Core Mathematics.  I have taught every grade level of middle school math and am well versed in the skills and concepts that your student will need to successfully move up to the high school.

I have a very diverse professional background that is immensely useful in the classroom.  Previously, I worked in commercial architecture and construction for Fortune 500 companies, architectural firms, and construction companies building retail stores across the country.  I also have worked with world industry leaders such as Intel, Panasonic, Clarion, and Extreme Networks as a global radio frequency compliance manager certifying their products with national frequency plans so they could sell their products in countries around the world.  So, when I get the question every year from my students: "When am I ever going to use this?", I have the pleasure of responding: "Well, let me tell you...'.

I come from a long line of teachers in my family.  I am representing a 4th generation of my family in the classroom.  Both of my parents, both of my maternal grandparents, and my maternal great-grandmother were in education as either teachers or administrators so it's in my blood and I absolutely love what I do.  I currently live in Meridian with my wife (who is also a teacher) and my two children.
