Thank a Teacher

  • Our teachers are working each day to create a positive and creative learning environment. As a community, we can be a part of that effort in a variety of ways. One way is to support teachers by making donations directly to their classrooms.
    Many teachers find themselves spending money out of their own pockets to make learning opportunities happen that are not funded by traditional funding streams.
    When you donate to a teacher, the funding comes through us and goes directly to that teacher. And because we are a nonprofit organization, you are eligible to earn a tax deduction for the donation. Please look at our brochure which explains more about the tax benefits of donating through the Foundation.
    All donations will be spent during the year they are given. Unspent funds revert to the Foundation's grant fund.

For Teachers

  • Please print out the instructions on how to access your donated funds. Also, you can print out either a reimbursement form or purchase order form here and send to it in through inter-office mail to the Foundation (District Service Center) or email to us using your Xerox machine. Anything purchased with Thank a Teacher funds stays in the building/classroom where it was donated.
    Funds donated before April 30th in the 2015-2016 school year must be spent by May 15, 2016. Funds donated after April 30th, must be used by May 15, 2017.
