Welcome to Mr. Boatman's class.  I am very excited to be part of the Eagle High School Community, teaching Seniors the in's and out's of American Government .  I am originally from Kennewick, WA, but have lived in the Treasure Valley going on 14 years.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Idaho, working as an Archaeologist for a couple of years in Boise.  I eventually decided to pursue teaching, earning my Bachelor's degree in Political Science/History - Secondary Education emphasis in 2014.  My wife and I have two beautiful daughters, Eleanor who is 3 years old and Audrey who is 1 years old and a very active Border Collie named Finnley.  We love to travel, hike, and spend time together.  I am grateful for the opportunity to teach, and more importantly learn more about our great country this semester.
