    October 14 Football Update

Based on recent COVID related developments, the remainder of the football season has been cancelled for middle schools in West Ada.

That means no practice Thursday as scheduled and no game next week.

We will turn in ALL football equipment on Thursday and Friday after school.  This means uniforms, shoulder pads, helmets, pads.

This most likely will mean that you will miss your bus after school, so please have a ride home scheduled by 3:45pm

    October 12 Football Update

We do not have a game this week (October 13), but we will practice on both Tuesday October 13 and Thursday October 15 from 3:30-5:00pm both days.

The last game of the season is Tuesday, October 20 at Home vs Eagle.

We do need volunteers for the Home game next week.

Changes have been made to the football calendar, with practice days and times.

    October 7 Football Update

Out of precaution for the football team, we will cancel football practice the rest of the week (Oct 6-9)

Since we do not have a game next week (October 13), we will practice on both Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:00pm both days.

The last game of the season is Tuesday, October 20 at Home vs Eagle.

Changes have been made to the football calendar, with practice days and times.

     October 6 Update

The A and B Team games on Tuesday October 6 at Star Middle School have been cancelled

    September 29 Update

We have added a HOME game for both the A and B teams on Tuesday, October 20.

This game was on the original, pre COVID schedule, and this week the school district added it back into our schedule in order for the kids to get 6 games in.

We do need volunteers for that game to work the chains and the clock.  We have done great so far on those positions.  Every officiating crew comments about how good are workers are, the help is greatly appreciated by Coaches, Administrators, and Players.  Great job!

    Football Volunteers Needed

We are looking at a time to replay the B game with Lewis & Clark that got cancelled because of air quality, it may not happen but we are trying to find a time for the game.

Next week our games are on Tuesday September 29 at Lake Hazel Middle School.  Same procedure as we had for the game at Lewis & Clark.

Since we are now in a Yellow School Schedule, on Tuesday some of the kids will be in school and some of the kids will be at home based on if you are Team 1 or Team 2.  We do provide a bus to transport kids to the games.  That bus leaves Victory at 3:30pm.  ANYONE from either the A Team or the B Team is welcome to ride that bus.  3:30pm is the ONLY time a bus will be leaving Victory and transporting kids to the games.  Parents are welcome to transport their kid to the game, they are not required to ride the bus.

The A Team needs to be at the Lake Hazel football field dressed and ready to warmup at 3:45pm. The B Team needs to be at the Lake Hazel football field dressed and ready to warmup at 5:30pm. After the completion of the B game the bus will be returning to Victory.  Kids can ride home from the games with a parent.  We will have a sign out sheet for parents who are taking their kids home with them.  We want to know that you have you kid and it helps us know who we are expecting to be on the bus on the ride home.

The real key to the game day is making sure the kids are organized, they know how they are to get to and from the game, and if they are riding to the game with a parent they need to make sure they have their equipment with them. That means some of them may have to take equipment home Monday after practice.

We need to keep paying the West Ada participation and ASB fee.  $90 participation fee + $22.26 ASB fee, total $112.26.  We gave some extra time because of cancellations, COVID, etc, but fees still need to be paid.

All fees can be paid online or in person to the Victory Middle School Bookkeeper.  There is a convenience fee if you choose to pay online.
