Mrs. Christin Cantlon
Welcome Students and Parents/Guardians! I am SUPER excited to be teaching 5th grade for the second time! School year 2019-2020 will be my 9th year teaching, and this will be my second year teaching 5th grade at Prospect Elementary. My previous years of teaching were at Vallivue Middle School in Caldwell, Idaho and at Eagle Middle School in Eagle, Idaho teaching 6th and 7th grade math.
Other than my teaching background, I bet you want to know about my life background! =-) I was born and raised in Hayden, Idaho (yes, I am an official Idahoan)! I graduated from Coeur d' Alene High School in 2000 (that makes me 37 years old)! I moved to Boise to attend Boise State University, and received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. While attending BSU, I met my husband, Ryan Cantlon. We were married in 2009, and have two beautiful daughters, Allison (7 years old) and Emily (4 years old but almost 5). We also have an energetic yellow lab named Sage. Our family loves to play at home, ride bikes, swim, fish, watch BSU football games, and travel up to our extended family cabin in Secesh Meadows, Idaho (near McCall, Idaho)! My personal interests other than things with my family are running, lacrosse, baking, teaching, traveling, and basically anything summer!
Well enough about me...but I hope you enjoyed learning more about who I am as a real person and not just a teacher!
