Mr. Olivares
My name is Victor Olivares. This is my fifth year teaching high school English at Rocky Mountain High School.
Teaching has a lot of benefits, such as guiding students to new realizations, being in a fluid environment of constant learning, or the satisfaction from helping others. Beyond that, I like that there is a positive influence from being in an environment where I'm surrounded by the potential in others.
Both my parents were teachers. Many years ago, they fled from an oppressive Cuban government so that my sisters and I could be born in this country, where there are written protections for our unalienable rights. Raised in such a home, I saw firsthand the benefits of being a school teacher, especially when it comes to raising a family. My wife and I are currently raising 4 kids, three boys under 17 years old and one girl. You may even see us around the foothills hiking and exploring. After all, the plan is to get out and enjoy making new memories.
Kind regards,
