Learning is an exciting adventure! It's important to have a learning environment that encourages taking risks and making mistakes. As a class we will continue to grow together, help each other along the way and learn new things. I can't wait for our adventure to begin!
This is my fourth year at Eagle Hills Elementary and am entering my 13th year of teaching. I have had the privledge of teaching all Elementary grade-levels teaching Title 1 (Reading Specialist), 1st, 3rd and 4th grade. Teaching is my passion and I love seeing students learn and grow!
My journey into the field of teaching started with a business degree which I receieved in Human Resource Management from Boise State University (GO Broncos!!!). After working in the curriculum department as the director of a 21st Century Learning Centers grant for the Twin Falls School District, I decided to return to school to become a teacher. I received my teaching credentials from Lewis-Clark State College in 2008 and completed my Masters of Science in Educational Leadership through Western Governors University in the Fall of 2017. I continue to seek out ways to improve my practice joining the Idaho Core Coach program in 2008 for two years and now participating in the Idaho Regional Math Center program.
I am looking forward to a wonderful school year! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
