Miss Angela Price
This is my second year teaching at Rocky Mountain. Currently I am the Positive Behavioral Intervention(PBI) teacher which is part of the Special Education Department and I teach Interpersonal Skills and Study Center. I am very excited to be a part of the culture and the team here at Rocky. Prior to teaching, I worked as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist(PSR) and as a case manager where I had the opportunity to work in the community with children with behavioral issues and with Adults with severe mental illnesses. By working in mental health, I gained the skills needed to be an effective PBI teacher and a positive support for these kids.
A little about me, I went to The College of Idaho and graduated in 2012, with my Bachelors in Health Science with a focus in Business. Prior to college, I graduated from the Meridian Medical Art's Charter High School in Meridian with my CNA. I planned to go to Nursing School until I injured my back working as a CNA in an Assisted Living Home. I’m thankful for my back injury because it has lead me to teaching, where I feel like I am at home. When I am not teaching I enjoy going to BSU games/tailgating, watching BSU football, spending time with friends and family, watching Netflix, cooking and being outdoors such as camping, bike riding, boating, snowboarding and floating the river.
