Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Aubrey Beaumont, I grew up in one house and one town, never having moved until I went away for college on a volleyball scholarship. I have two sisters and one brother-in-law. After graduating high school from Great Falls High, in Montana, I continued on my athletic career in college at the University of Jamestown, in North Dakota. My aunt, who was my third grade teacher, was one of the most influential teachers I have had! Growing up I always knew I wanted to teach and inspire others just as my aunt and a couple other teachers and coaches have done for me. Junior year, in college, I joined a program called America Reads. This program was a work study through my school that allowed me to work around my schedule, and I continued this program for one full year. My student teaching was completed in a 100 percent title one school which gave me a lot of insight and continued to increase my passion to inspire and teach others. Upon completing my student teaching, I volunteered my time to work and co-teach with my cooperating teacher to finish out the school year. I have gotten many ideas, techniques and passion from all of my experiences that will allow me to be a great teacher!
