Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Craig Misajet
2020-'21 will be my fourth year at Meridian High School. I currently teach Sociology, Idaho History, Eastern Geographical Perspectives, and Introduction to Law Enforcement. In the past I taught U.S. History 10 and U.S. Government as well. My favorite part of teaching is getting students to realize the importance of the subject they are learning. For example, the study of history helps us understand the past so that we can make better sense of the present. Armed with that knowledge, we can make more intelligent decisions that will impact the future. When students see the application of the subject, or "why" we learn it, they take real interest and I can pass on useful habits of thought that they will use for the rest of their lives.
I'm an avid reader and I encourage all of my students to be as well. If you are not already, you should try to read at least one book a month. I will keep a record of the books I read throughout this year in the space below. If anything catches your eye, let me know and I will most-likely let you borrow it.
