“Everyone that you'll ever meet will know something that you won't” ― Bill Nye
Mrs. Meghan Howard
I am extremely lucky to join a new family at Star Middle School! I grew up in Boise and graduated from Boise High School in 1989, and The College of Idaho in 1993. When an opportunity to move to Andros Island in the Bahamas came up, I took it! The next year and a half were spent teaching at Forfar Field Station, an educational field station for Bahamian and American students.
In 1998, I returned to Idaho, and taught for 1 year at Eagle Academy High School. The wandering bug bit me again, so I explored Baja Mexico, conducted bat research in New Mexico, and then moved to McCall in 2002.
I spent some time instructing snowboarders at Brundage and conducting Wildlife and Timber surveys for the Forest Service before I began teaching again in New Meadows. While there, I taught 5th and 6th grade. Before my children got too old, I left teaching again to spend some time at home with them, but eventually returned to teaching with the McCall Donnelly School District.
In June 2017, we moved back to Boise and I taught 6th grade Science and Literature at Eagle Middle School. My children attend school in Boise and my husband is an RN for St. Luke's.
In my “free” time I enjoy running, mountain biking, and camping with my family.
