Hello, I'm Ms. Blumhardt! I started teaching in 2016. I graduated from Washington State University Vancouver in 2017 and am originally from Longview, Washington. I have 2 cats named Scooter and Ghost. I also enjoy playing tennis, drawing, reading, hiking, backpacking, visiting national parks, baking, snowshoeing and having a great cup of coffee. I have experience in newspaper editing - I worked for my college newspaper, The VanCougar, for 2 years and I've also been a tutor, a summer school teacher, a barista, a cashier and prestige beauty advisor at Ulta Beauty, and a nursing assistant! Basically, I've worn a lot of hats :) I became an English teacher because it is my favorite subject and I love sharing my passions for English and Journalism with students. Let's have an awesome school year!
