Miss Emmanuella Mazile

Welcome!

This page is a great way to keep up with what we're working on in our classes. I teach 6th Grade Choir, 7th/8th Grade Choirs, General Music, and Keyboarding.

This is my 4th year at Lowell Scott! I am a graduate of Borah High School and earned my degree in Vocal Music Education from the University of Idaho's Lionel Hampton School of Music, and am currently working on my Master's Degree in Education. My philosophy is to teach music as it relates to life. In my classes we work on leadership, teamwork, time management, hard work, advocacy, communication, flexibility, problem solving, being creative, striving for excellence and more through the enjoyment of music. It is a joy of mine to help students lean in to who they are and become the best versions of themselves day by day. We can't wait to experience music with you this year!

  • Benefits of Singing in a Choir

“Music has the power of producing a certain effect on the moral character of the soul, and if it has the power to do this, it is clear that the young must be directed to music and must be educated in it.” - Aristotle

  • LSMS Choir 2020-2021 Concert Series

Our concerts this year will look different at this point. All public performances are TBA. Currently, there will be no indoor performances until at least December. However, I’m excited about some new possibilities and rethinking our musical “product” and will update you as final decisions are made.
