Miss Emmanuella Mazile

Welcome!

This page is a great way to keep up with what we're working on in our classes. I teach 6th Grade Choir, 7th/8th Grade Tenor-Bass Choir, 7th/8th Grade Treble Choir, General Music, Digital Tools, and Keyboarding.

This is my 3rd year at Lowell Scott and I LOVE being apart of the wonderful community we have here. I am a graduate of Borah High School and earned my degree in Vocal Music Education from the University of Idaho's Lionel Hampton School of Music. My philosophy is to teach choral music as it relates to life. In my classes we work on leadership, teamwork, time management, hard work, advocacy, communication, flexibilty, problem solving, being creative, striving for excellence and more through the enjoyment of singing. It is a joy of mine to help students lean in to who they are and become the best versions of themselves day by day. We can't wait to experience music with you this year!

  • Benefits of Singing in a Choir

“Music has the power of producing a certain effect on the moral character of the soul, and if it has the power to do this, it is clear that the young must be directed to music and must be educated in it.” - Aristotle
