Mrs. Archabal's English Language Arts 7

Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Jennifer Archabal

My name is Jennifer Archabal. I have a family of six; Including myself, my wonderful husband, three daughters and my son. I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho and have worked in the Treasure Valley school system for seventeen years. I began my career in Education in 2003, when I became a substitute teacher. Since, I have worked as a Teacher's Assistant, Sign Language Interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing, secondary English teacher and as an ELL (English Language Learners) teacher. I have my Associate's Degree in Sign Language Studies and my Bachelor's Degree in Educational Sign Language Interpreting. I am certified to interpret American Sign Language, and other signing modalities, with a passing score on our nationally recognized EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment). I received my English Teaching Certificate in 2017, with high marks in Teacher Professionalism and English Writing. In addition, I have owned four successful businesses and in my spare time I enjoy drawing, making soap and herbal remedies, foraging in nature, star-gazing, rock-hounding, spending time with my family, and listening to music.

These many years working with students in both the West Ada and Boise School Districts has shown me a dedication to education which I aspire towards daily. It is my hope that every student will foster a love learning, reading and writing, and will further their lives with the skills they learn under my direction!
