Mrs. Robin Steingruber

Hello and welcome to my class and website!

My name is Mrs. Steingruber and I will be your teacher in World Civilizations, Advisory, and/or Keyboarding this year.

This is my 32nd year teaching and I am so excited to have you as a part of my class. Other places that I have been a teacher include: Livingston, MT.; Billings, MT.; Missoula, MT.; Vallivue Middle School in Caldwell; Meridian Middle School; and Eagle Middle School. I have taught all core subjects for sixth through eighth grade students (even P.E and Health and Human Development). I love World Civilizations and I can’t wait to begin this year!

I was born and raised in Montana but have really enjoyed Meridian since moving here fifteen years ago. My husband (Eric) and I have been married for 34 years. Eric works for Hubble Homes as the Finance Manager. We have three children: Eric is 30, Kaden is 27, and McKenzie is 24.  Eric is married (Jocelyn) and  graduated from Navy Nuclear Power School in South Carolina. He is an Instructor at the Navy Nuclear Power School in Goose Creek, SC. Jocelyn and Eric blessed us with a grandson (Arthur Ericcson) two years ago and a baby girl last April (Eowyn Rayne).  Kaden graduated from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD where he studied Systems Engineering. He is married (Natalie) and is a Naval Flight Officer in Florida. They blessed us with our first grandbaby two years ago last November (Everly Scout)! They are having another baby girl in November. My daughter, McKenzie, attended the Naval Academy for two years and just completed her degree at BSU in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computers and a Certificate in Mechatronics. She is a Robotics Engineer in Meridian for Kaitech.

My family loves the outdoors, sporting events, gardening, music, and reading. I love crafting and DIYing. We are also big animal lovers. We have two dogs, a ferret, 7 chickens, and two ponds full of fish.

I want to welcome all my new students to World Civ., Advisory, and Keyboarding class.  It is going to be a great year!!! I can't wait to get to know all of you better!!!
