Mrs. Apalategui

Very few people can honestly say they GENUINELY love their job. I, however, am one of the lucky few who truly enjoy going to work every day. Especially when I have such wonderful students and families making it so easy to love! Thank you for entrusting the care of your children to me. I am thrilled to be your child's 4th grade teacher this year as we embark on this journey together.

Not only do I have an exciting and rewarding career, but I am super proud of my family as well. I am married and have two children with one on the way! Ariana, my daughter, is 5 years old. She is in kindergarten and loves to horseback ride, dance and do gymnastics. My son, Nico, is 3 years old and just started pre-school. He LOVES playing sports and being active. We live in Eagle with our French Bulldog named Chloe. When I am not spending time teaching or caring for my family, I enjoy reading, taking long walks around my neighborhood and shopping at Target. I love to go out to eat (yum), shop for just about anything (except groceries), and have fun playing with my kids. I've been a teacher for 8 years, having taught kindergarten for one year, sixth grade for one year, and fourth grade for 6 years (my favorite grade to teach)!!

If you were to ask me where I see myself in ten years, I would probably say...right here! It is my dream to continue to be the best teacher that I can possibly be, striving every day to make learning meaningful for the eager students that enter my classroom. I will continue to work hard and expect the best from my students. My desire to keep learning and growing will never end.

Welcome to 4th grade! Let the learning begin!

Your teacher,

Mrs. Apalategui
