Mrs. Kaitlyn Briscoe

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Briscoe and I am the Extended Resource Room Teacher at Meridian Elementary!

I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I graduated from Centennial High School in 2013. After high school I began to pursue a degree in Special Education from Brigham Young University-Idaho. While in Rexburg, I met my husband Jordan, who I have been married to for six years. Shortly after our wedding, we both decided to head home and transferred to Boise State University. I completed my program in December of 2017 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Special Education/Elementary Education. We have since added to our family and are expecting our first child in January 2021.

I come from a family with 5 children, me being the oldest. I enjoy spending time with my family, participating in any outdoors activity, reading a good book, and running. My husband and I love to play soccer together and go on Maverik runs to get a Dr. Pepper. We do not currently have children and are enjoying our time beginning our careers and putting our life together. We do have a dog, a miniature Australian Shepherd named Riley, who likes to watch TV with us and go on walks and hikes.

I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity I have to be part of your child’s education and classroom experience. I look forward to working with your student in a small group setting and helping them be as successful as possible in their education!
