Degrees and Certifications:

Jennifer Clements

Hi! My name is Jennifer Clements and I am SO excited to be your child's firstgrade teacher! I have been teaching here in West Ada for 13 years. I have taught many different grades, but I have spent the most time in first grade and it's my favorite! The kids learn and grow so much in such a short time, and I love being a part of that change.

I grew up in La Grande, Oregon, but I went to college at the University of Idaho and have lived in Idaho ever since. I have a degree in Liberal Studies from UI, as well as a BA in Elementary Education from BSU, and a Master's in Early Childhood Education from Stephen F. Austin University. I also have an endorsement in English as a Second Language. As you can see, I love learning!

My son Chase turned two at the beginning of August. He is a running, climbing, crazy bundle of fun! Right now his favorite things are trucks, reading, and doing "work" with his "tools". He's a funny guy! Chase was born with some health problems, and we are still trying to get his weight up. There will be days that I am gone to take Chase to appointments. I will let you know in advance when those are, and lessons will be in Seesaw.

I also have two dogs, who are named after my favorite baseball players. Ted Williams is 16! He loves sleeping, but every now and then he rallies himself for a walk. Mo Vaughn thinks he is Baby Chase's nanny. He is very patient with him. Mo loves to dig in the dirt or sandbox with Chase and they both love when we all go for a walk. Mo is also a fetch addict!

Please email me with any questions or for information about our first grade class!
