Mrs. Julie Radek

Hello! My name is Julie Radek, and it is such a privilege to work with the students, families, and staff at Hunter Elementary.

I have been a School Counselor in Idaho since 2001. I attended Colorado State University, in Fort Collins, Colorado, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1993. After graduating from college, my husband and I re-located to Fort Riley Kansas, where he was stationed.  While there, I taught college courses (Human Growth and Development, General Psychology, and several others). After moving to Minnesota, I ran a hospital volunteer program for teens, while pursuing graduate studies. I received my Master's Degree in Community Counseling in 2000, and School Counseling in 2001.

As the counselor at Hunter Elementary, I support students K-5 with their academic, social, and emotional needs. Some of my responsibilities include: teaching classroom guidance lessons, facilitating individual counseling and support groups, and providing information and resources to students and families.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, and/or if you are in need of resources.
