Welcome to my class!

This is my second year teaching at Siena. Before this, I attended Boise State University, where I earned a BA in Elementary Education, with an endoresement in Math and a minor in Psychology. I also worked at the Siena Y Kids site as a child development teacher. I have been working with children since the day I was able to get a job as a peer tutor in 6th grade. It is a new adventure every day, but there is no place else I would rather be! 

Fifth grade is a big year for elementary students as they are preparing to go into the big world of middle school and beyond. As such, I believe it is important that every student be held to high standards, both academically and behaviorally. For them to have the best possible educational experience, I will always be there to support them, as well as challenge them to reach their full potential. Every student is capable of great things and I cannot wait to help them and see them achieve them this year!
