Welcome, Star Middle School! We are so excited about the upcoming year!
For all of you that are new to the middle school setting, please get in the habit of logging on to your PowerSchool parent account. PowerSchool is your link to your student’s grades, assignments, attendance records, and teachers’ email addresses.
We ask that every student’s PowerSchool Account is updated each year by the parent/guardian at https://ps.westada.org/public, to keep the information up to date for everyone involved. PowerSchool is how you provide the school with vital demographic information which includes emergency contact and medical information. If you are having difficulty accessing your PowerSchool parent account or need to create a PowerSchool parent account,

Withdrawing a student from Star Middle School:
If you will be withdrawing your student from Star Middle School, please contact the registrar (Michelle Federico) at least one day prior to your student’s last day at the school. We have a simple form to complete (with a parent/guardian signature) and some basic information to collect for your student to make a smooth transition to his/her next educational environment.
Registration in August:
Registration will be held on August 15th, from 8:00 to noon. Please note that this is optional. It will be a time for students and parents to tour the school, visit with counselors and office staff, and see where their lockers are located. Please note, that this Registration day is for current students who have pre-registered.

*NOTE: Schedules are subject to change and may not be finalized until August 23rd
New Student Registration Process:
- STEP 1: Go to our school district website www.westada.org Click on “Register” (located at top of the screen)
- STEP 2: Click on the “NEW STUDENT” box. Fill out the requested information. (NOTE: For the school year 2019/2020, first day of school is 08/26/2019)
- STEP 3: You will receive an email from our School Registrar, Michelle Federico, with instructions to complete the on-line registration process.
Please Note: We will be out of the Office for Summer Break June 14 th thru August 5 th . If you register during this time, we will get back to you after August 5 th .
