Mrs. Annette Mackey

Welcome to Centennial High School Choir. My name is Annette Mackey and I am so happy to be working with your students. I have a BA in Music from Brigham Young University and a Master of Music in Secondary Music Education from Boston University. Currently, I serve as the Idaho ACDA Men's Choir Chair and the DIII High School Choral Chair. This year I am also teaching Freshman Cornerstone.

Email is the easiest and fastest way to contact me. If you need to call me, please use the Centennial High School main line at 208-855-4250.

This year choir students will learn music skills, along with interpersonal skills, performance skills, and leadership skills. Each day students will be welcomed into an environment of respect and rapport. Music is uniquely human. We share emotions and complex feelings through song. In choir, we will learn music from a variety of cultures and traditions, allowing students to gain insight into a larger scope of humanity.
