Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Dino Vinci
My name is Mr. Vinci, and I am excited to be working in the West Ada School district. I am a graduate of the University of Idaho and hold a degree in Agricultural Education with a Minor in Animal Sciences. I grew up moving around Arizona, Nevada, and Idaho. I love Idaho and I LOVE calling it home. I enjoy raising and showing sheep which takes up most of my time outside of school.
As I am relatively new to the agricultural industry, I have kept two mottos in mind. The first is to be a sponge. To me, this means to always take in everything from your surroundings. Secondly, learn something from everything. This one is a little more self-explanatory but helps me remember to be a life long learner. I feel that these two mottos together will help make for a long, positive, and productive life, which I hope all my students will achieve.
My educational philosophy is centered around guiding the students and helping them take responsibility of their own learning. I strive to form a classroom environment where students feel safe and can efficiently learn. I believe in using a variety of teaching styles from lecture to hands on activities. I hope my classes are as engaging as possible and focus on real world applicable skills and problem solving. As I believe in the development of real-world skills, I value the students’ ability and development for self-advocacy. I hope that through my class and a holistic education, students will be able and excited to live long, positive, and productive lives.
