At this time our school district is preparing to have high school sports in the fall. Of course, changes can be made, but, we are hoping for the best:).
Please observe the following for considerations while getting together with the team: If you feel that it is inappropriate for you to come because you are concerned about your health, do not come. We respect that. If you are sick, stay at home. If you do attend please follow the guidelines coaches give so that we are following the guidelines we have been given. :) This is very important.
Financial concerns: Reach out to coach Jen if you have financial concerns. We understand that this COVID has impacted many financially. There are fees for pool time.
Sign up for the second session of Rocky swim workouts at Boise Swim and Racquet @ 1116 N Cole Rd, Boise, ID 83704. Thre is still room in each group. A new session starts Tuesday. Group 1 (for new swimmers or if you are in 9-10 grade) from 7:45 to 8:45 pm cost for entire session $14
Group 2 (for most returning swimmers) from 8:30 to 10:00 pm cost for entire session $18
Coaches will be donating any pay received for coaching these practices to the West ADA Foundation Fund for the Rocky Swim Team to raise money for buying the swimmers hoodies for the Hoodie Challenge.
Payment information: Payment must be made with Venmo, check or cash at the pool by July 14. Emily Anderson will be there to collect the money. Please put your payment in an envelope with the student or student's name/s. Or you may pre-pay with Venmo to Emily Anderson's account if you would like. ****IMPORTANT, please read: Masks will now be required for coaches, swimmers, and any family on deck at swim workouts. When you are swimming you will not need one on. *****
Independent Swim Workouts, and Conditioning for June and July: The main goal with these workouts is to get/stay conditioned for fall. Coaches will distribute at least 6 swim workouts and 3 dry workouts online each week and will hand them out in person at group workouts each week. Students choose what works best for them out of the workouts given. Or they can create their own. The goal is 4-5 times per week for approximately an hour each day in addition to the weekly group workouts.
Pools that are open for lap swim: If you feel it is appropriate, we encourage swimming workouts, since we are swimmers that is the best workout for us.
The Crunch Fitness pools are open-Coaches have negotiated a great deal for Rocky Swimmers this summer to swim and workout at Crunch. Here is the link to that deal:https://www.westada.org/Page/79091
The Nampa Rec. Center is open- Day passes can be purchased still for non-members. They are $ 6.50 for youth up to 17, and $8.50 for 18 and over.
The YMCA pool is open, but you must reserve lap swimming time. Many neighborhood pools are also opening, many mid-June. The Meridan City pool has lap lanes and plans to open in July. Different pools have different rules they are following. Please follow the rules at the pools:). Coaches will be available for guidance. Just reach out and ask.

*Social distancing and hygiene standards will be practiced at group workouts.
*Please bring a snack and a water bottle to all workouts.* NO sharing food or water:).
