Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Lisa Giles

Welcome to Earth Science.

I am grew up in South Carolina.  My husband and I lived in the Washington, D.C. area for a number of years, where I had a long career in the legal field. My husband was raised in Idaho, so we moved back to Boise in 2004. In 2006, I decided to return to school and to become an educator like many of the members in my family. I graduated from Boise State University in May 2008 with a B.A. in Elementary Education.  I also have a degree in Earth Science. This is my 14th year of teaching.

Learning about the Earth, it's systems, and it's resources is usually an area of science that kids connect with easily.  I look forward to working together with you and your student this year.
